Welcome! My name is Astrid but online I'm known as Bluebird. 

I've studied Graphic storytelling In Belgium as well as Sweden and my goal in life is to become a comic book artist and illustrator.

One of my biggest inspirations is the story 'L'oiseau Bleu' by Maurice Maeterlinck. This story has inspired countless creators for over 100 years and shares the message of how happiness can be found in many places and is to be shared with others. Hence my name!

These days I mostly work digitally but with traditional pencil drawings as a base. My current favorite creating tool is my ipad pro, I also love to use watercolours, like in my book 'Keskiyö' and various other mediums.
